Ordinary combinations pay on paylines. Matching symbols must appear in the required sequence on a valid line; their total count across the screen is not enough.

Three scatters open a separate 5x5 cash board with three respins; new money symbols reset the count. A new qualifying money symbol resets the remaining respins. That does not mean adding three to the counter: one remaining respin normally becomes three, rather than four. The feature can therefore run for many spins without having started with that many lives.

Cash symbols stay and connected groups carry size-based multipliers. A group of four to six uses x2; seven to nine uses x3. Larger groups reach higher bands, with x50 for twenty-four connected symbols. Values are resolved under those group multipliers at the end. Money labels, regular reel symbols and the remaining lives describe different things. Use the feature's collection or end-of-round rule rather than treating every visible cash label as a payout already settled to the balance. Connections run horizontally or vertically, not diagonally. Two adjacent-looking islands can therefore have different multipliers. Filling all twenty-five positions awards the game maximum of 10,000x; this is different from merely reaching the x50 group band. A familiar dragon or chilli theme does not establish the same grid size, collector behaviour or stopping condition. The displayed bonus title is a better guide than the background picture.
