A WILD only changes the combinations it participates in

The 5x5 board pays connected clusters of at least five matching symbols. Treasure-chest WILD symbols can carry multipliers up to x10. Follow the highlighted winning line or combination when the game resolves a result. A multiplier on a WILD elsewhere on the board does not automatically boost an unrelated payout. The same WILD can contribute to several valid combinations, which is why the final spin total can include multiple amounts.

What survives between free spins

Paw scatters can award up to twenty free spins. Multiplier WILD symbols are retained with their values during the bonus, and further scatters can award additional spins. Retained WILD symbols are useful positions for subsequent combinations, rather than prepaid cash amounts. A new ordinary symbol payout is still needed to explain the result. The location of a retained WILD can matter as much as its multiplier value.

The feature specific to this game

A retained chest can join later clusters, but matching dogs on opposite sides of the board do not form a payout unless they connect. Follow the highlighted group boundary. The WILD can bridge an otherwise incomplete group, which is different from replacing a symbol along a fixed line.
