Hand of Midas 2 keeps WILD symbols and their multiplier progress during free spins. The running value explains why later bonus payouts can differ from similar base-game screens.
The worked examples explain the payout calculation using virtual credits.
Ordinary combinations pay on paylines. Matching symbols must appear in the required sequence on a valid line; their total count across the screen is not enough.
WILD symbols can appear as ordinary x1 symbols or carry multipliers up to x10. Their values are collected and applied to the spin's total winning amount. A printed x10 describes a boost to a payout, rather than ten credits automatically awarded for that symbol.
At least three golden-hand scatters trigger free spins. Each contributes three mini reels with values from one to three; the sum determines the opening allocation. The small reveal numbers count spins, while the WILD values govern payout multiplication. Mixing them gives the wrong interpretation of the opening screen.
WILD symbols become sticky and their multiplier values remain accumulated for later wins. Two or more further scatters can extend the feature, with awards up to eighteen extra spins under the displayed rules. Look at both the retained WILD layout and the running multiplier before the next result.
The first Hand of Midas has a specified minimum feature result. That separate rule is not established for this sequel by the shared title. The useful distinction here is the persistent multiplier total and higher WILD range. An increasing meter describes state within the bonus, not a guarantee of a profitable session.
