A WILD only changes the combinations it participates in

WILD symbols on reels two to four carry x2 or x3. Relevant multiplier values add within a winning combination. Follow the highlighted winning line or combination when the game resolves a result. A multiplier on a WILD elsewhere on the board does not automatically boost an unrelated payout. The same WILD can contribute to several valid combinations, which is why the final spin total can include multiple amounts.

What survives between free spins

Bonus symbols on reels one, three and five open nine clams, each showing one to three spins. Their sum awards nine to 27 free spins with retained multiplier WILD symbols.
