Nine lines rather than a screen-wide count

The 5x3 board pays combinations along nine fixed lines. Swords, hats and coins appearing anywhere on the board are not automatically a group. The relatively small line count makes the game's highlighted paths useful when understanding why a dense screen did or did not pay.

The bonus begins with five spins

Three scatter-WILD symbols trigger the feature. WILD symbols leave frames at their landed positions. The frame is a record of a position, not a direct money award. Follow which cells retain a frame after a WILD has moved or the next spin begins.

A repeated position changes the WILD

If another WILD lands at the framed position, it can receive a multiplier up to x5. This is a positional revisit mechanic rather than a general counter that increases whenever any WILD appears. A WILD in a different unframed cell should not automatically inherit the earlier cell's progress.

How to read a short bonus

With five initial spins, the distinction between a new frame and a repeat hit can explain much of the feature. Compare the cell location before comparing multiplier values. Pirate artwork also appears in Muttley Crew, but that game pays clusters and retains chests under different rules.
