ABOUT THE GAME

Hot to Burn has five fixed paylines and star scatters that pay anywhere on the grid. Three stars award a payment here; the original does not have a free-spins round.

The worked examples explain the payout calculation using virtual credits.

Five paylines on a 5×3 grid

Ordinary matches run left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the first. The grid contains fruit and sevens. Cherries pay from two symbols on a line; other ordinary symbols need at least three.

Stars pay anywhere on the grid

Three, four or five star scatters pay 2×, 10× or 50× the total bet. They do not need a shared payline. The stars award an immediate payment and do not trigger free spins.

Calculating the star payment

At a total bet of 2 virtual units, three stars pay 4, four pay 20 and five pay 100. Do not multiply those figures by five paylines again: the scatter payment is already based on the total bet.

The original game’s settings

The official listing gives 96.71% RTP and a maximum win of 1,000× the bet. Original Hot to Burn has no Bonus Buy or Ante Bet. These rules describe the 2020 release.
